Costello Tagliapietra Invites You to Take a Woodland Stroll in Their Whimsical Collection for Autumn Winter 2015
Come with us and enjoy a VIP seat as we step into the charming world of designer duo Costello Tagliapietra for autumn/winter 2015 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. Fashion One brings you highlights from the runway presentation so you can take a first look at the latest creations from designers Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra, whose most recent collection was partly inspired by their love of long outdoor strolls combined with references to the couple’s own personal style.
In an autumnal palette the collection displayed subtle folky fashions like suspender braces on trousers and tiny waistcoats alongside beautiful shell colored dresses gathered at the waist. Turtlenecks were worn under collared tuxedo blouses and other garments included pinafore dresses, flowing wide leg trousers as well as split sided tunics, gaucho pants and jumpsuits accessorized with belts and neckties.
Forest tree prints appeared on gorgeous gowns and twinsets whilst lumberjack spirit was reimagined in feminine plaid printed dresses mixed in amongst gorgeous chunky knitwear pieces. Soft draped tactile fabrics were the perfect complement to the gentle masculine elements combined with truly organic inspiration.
