Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and More

This week Fashion Frontline host Henrietta Moore lets us in on the latest with British fashion house Mulberry, whose unorthodox approach to their newest bag’s promotion has landed them in hot water with the royals; the ground-breaking approach taken by Kate Spade New York set to revolutionize fashion retail, and the list-toppers in Elle magazine’s annual “Women in Hollywood” issue.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence released a statement taking a stand against the 4chan nude photo leaks that have targeted almost exclusively female celebrities including Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst and Amber Heard. Lawrence made it clear that the photo leaks are not a “scandal” but a sex crime, and spoke out against hackers, publishers and anyone else who played a role in the violations, stating: “Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense.” Google have come under fire too, with a US attorney threatening to sue the internet giant on grounds of facilitating and perpetuating the unlawful conduct.

Multi-national luxury goods conglomerate Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, or LVMH, furthered their commitment to gender equality: figures including Donna Karen, Marc Jacobs International CEO Sebastian Suhl and LVMH Fashion Group chairman and CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel signing the United Nations “Women’s Empowerment Principles Initiative.”

Oscar winning actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie received an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, from Queen Elizabeth II for her work against sexual violence. The star was joined at Buckingham Palace by husband Brad Pitt and their six children.
