If I Stay Movie Premiere Los Angeles

The premiere of American romantic drama If I Stay was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Chloë Grace Moretz was there, looking glamorous in a layered Schiaparelli gown from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring 2014 collection, which she paired with minimal makeup and low-key waves. Costar Jamie Blackley was also there to promote the film.

Brooklyn Beckham, who is rumored to be dating Moretz, also turned up to show his support.

Celebrities Mireille Enos, Alan Ruck, Bellamy Young of Scandal, Stacy Keach, Sierra McCormick, Joey King, Kelli Garner, Liana Liberato, Olivia Holt, Emma Kenney, Katie Aselton, G. Hannelius, Cameron Monaghan, and Joshua Leonard all turned up to the event.

The movie is based on a 2009 young adult novel of the same name, by author Gayle Forman. The main character of the story is 17-year-old Mia Hall, a gifted cellist who has a real chance of attending the prestigious Juilliard conservatory for performing arts. She meets with a catastrophic car accident that involves her entire family, and after which she ends up in a coma and has an out-of-body experience where she sees friends and family gather at her bedside. As her memories flash before her, she is faced with the choice of waking up and continuing with her life and dealing with the loss of her loved ones—or allowing herself to die.
